I woke up this morning just wanting to get the day over. I just felt a weight on me that I have just gotten used to and hardly recognize anymore. I heard the Spirit calling me to spend time with him and instead I did the family budget, ranted on Facebook, and looked at the work before me. But the Spirit would not let me go. I finally relented and opened my bible. I found His uplifting promises in Eph 1:1-14. He reminded me that this is truth. I know I am not the only one who is feeling weight right now. Please look at all of the promises that are in this passage. Take a few minutes to read it yourself. Let the Spirit bless you and lift you up as well. Love all of you.
Eph 1:1-14
I have been blessed with every Spiritual Blessing in Christ.
I was chosen before the creation of the world.
I am holy and blameless in his sight.
I am adopted as His son in accordance with his pleasure and will.
I receive his grace freely because he loves me.
I am redeemed because he gave his blood for me (as a father would his child).
ALL of my sins are forgiven in accordance with the riches of His grace.
He lavishes his grace on me in wisdom and understanding (he understands who he is giving grace to and finds it to be wise to give me that grace).
He is pleased to make the mystery of his will known to me.
I am chosen, predestined, and part of God’s plan.
I am marked with the seal of the Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance.
